Product Safety Information Guide
Candle Guide
Always treat your candle with a little tender loving care, to ensure that you get great results from your candles every time.
Follow these simple instructions and precautions.
Burning Instruction
Burn your candle for a minimum of 4 hours on the first burn cycle, this will create a memory for the burn pool to ensure that your candle burns even.
-
Make sure the candle is placed on a suitable heat/fire resistant flat surface.
-
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
-
Never go to sleep with a candle burning.
-
Never burn a candle on or near anything that could catch fire including fabrics and hair.
-
Always keep candles away from children and pets.
-
Keep the candle free from any foreign material, this includes wick trimmings and matches.
-
Always burn a candle in a well-ventilated room away from drafts and open windows.
-
Never touch or move a candle when the wax is in liquid form.
-
Always leave at least 10cm between each burning candle.
-
Most wick sustainers use a 3mm neck, all of our wick's use a 6mm neck sustainer. This means that they offer enhanced safety and can significantly decrease the likelihood of the glass overheating in the final stages of the burn, once your candle reaches the sustainer its time to throw it out or let it set and pop the wax out and use this as a wax melt.
Extinguishing your candle
It's best to snuff out your candle with a candle snuffer or a metal container lid to extinguish it, do not blow it out. Always double check that the candle is completely extinguished and not still smouldering.
Allow your candle to cool to room temperate and allow wax to solidify before moving.
Always trim the wick in-between burns to between 5-10mm before you light your candle.
Wax Melt Guide
Wax melt usage Instructions
-
Remove all packaging before you place any wax in your wax burner well.
-
Always use a burner designed specifically for wax melts.
-
Check your burner regularly for any hairline fractures, cracks or chips before use.
-
Never use a damaged burner as this is a fire hazard.
-
Always use only ONE regular sized 4 hour unscented tealight in your burner and DO NOT add water to your wax.
-
Always have a read at the safety information on the back of our packaging.
Safety
-
Always keep the wax burner out of the reach of children and pets
-
Never leave a burning tealight unattended. Keep in sight.
-
Keep burner away from drafts and open windows.
-
Always keep your burner on a stable and heat proof surface away from all fire hazards.
-
Do NOT overfill your wax burner well, use a suitable amount of wax for the size of your wax melt burner well.
-
Do not attempt to move your burner while tea light is burning, or wax is in liquid form as the burner will be too hot to lift and will cause spillages.
-
Melted wax may be to hot to touch
-
Allow wax to solidify before attempting to move.
Wax Melt Storage
-
Please store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Wax melts are sensitive to heat so please be cautious when storing.
-
Store wax melts in original packaging, away from dust and dirt.
Changing your wax melt
There is two ways in which you can remove your used wax melt safely
-
If your wax melt burner is hot and the wax is in liquid form you can pop 2 cotton wool balls into the wax pool and let them absorb the wax, you can then discard these and use a dry cotton ball to remove the excess wax from around the burner. (Please be sure to have your next choice of wax melt available to place into your burner well) NEVER leave a burner dry with a lit tealight candle underneath the burner well.
-
If the wax in the burner is solidified you can light a tea light for 20 seconds or so, so that the solid wax melts a little underneath and you should be able to pop out the wax disk from the dish, then blow out the tealight and clean the remaining wax from your burner well with a cotton wool ball or a piece of paper towel/blue roll.
Reed Diffuser Guide
Reed Diffuser Safety
-
Our reed diffusers have liquid and fragrance already combined, just remove the diffuser and reeds from the box.
-
Check the allergen and safety information on the bottom of the box, you can retain this for future reference.

Unscrew the cap and remove then dispose of the travel plug fitted inside (please use gloves for this)
-
Screw the cap back on and add the desired amount of reeds (we supply and recommend 8 but if you prefer a more Subtle scent just add 6)
-
Allow the reeds time to soak up the scent and to begin releasing the fragrance. (Please note this can take up to 24 hours)
-
Always use gloves when handling the reeds when wet
-
Please remember that liquid is flammable
-
Do Not try to light the reeds
-
Do Not put reed diffuser near a heat source
-
Do Not ingest
-
Keep out of reach of children and pets
-
Do not place the diffuser directly onto or allow the reeds to touch, polished, painted, leather or plastic surfaces or electrical equipment as accidental spillage or liquid transfer may cause damage to certain materials
-
Always put your reed diffuser on a level surface
-
People suffering from fragrance sensitivity should be cautious when using reed diffusers and should reduce the number of reeds that they use.
